The newest primetime series of ABS-CBN The Killer Bride is setting records high in NUTAM People’s Ratings, smashing its rival Love You Two during its pilot week. But on August 17, GMA Network announced another reshuffle to address the downward trend in terms of ratings of GMA Telebabad shows.
Love You Two had fared well in the ratings throughout its run but not after The Killer Bride began its pilot week.
Starting August 19, the romcom show was placed in an earlier timeslot. Love You Two airs right after Sahaya and will be followed by The Better Woman.
The first five episodes of The Killer Bride caught more viewers with its thrilling events. Camila’s (Maja Salvador) world turned upside down as she was found guilty for killing the brother of her fiancé Vito (Geoff Eigenmann), ultimately dying as the jail she was in was destroyed by fire, separating her from her child. Camila is branded as a monster when she is accused of a horrendous crime. Years after Camila’s death, a young woman named Emma (Janella Salvador) arrived in Las Espadas. Emma seemingly gets possessed as she introduced herself as Camila to the Dela Torres.
In Love You Two‘s episodes highlights, Raffy (Jennylyn Mercado) was taken by Adonis, Zora used social media to find the lost bride, Venus. Jake’s (Gabbi Concepcion) life was also in danger after he was taken as a hostage by Adonis which was caused by the latter’s love for Venus. After surviving from the hijackers, Raffy finally decided to confess her romantic feelings to Jake. Raffy wanted to prove to Teresita that she is worthy of him.

Here are the comparative ratings of Love You Two versus The Killer Bride pilot week last August 12 to 16 according to NUTAM People’s Ratings.
The Killer Bride‘s pilot episode on Monday, August 12, landed to a two-digit score of 10.9% and led Love You Two to register a deficiency of -4.9% with a 6.0% rating.
The following day, The Killer Bride rose higher to 12.9% but Love You Two remained low though it recorded a slight change with 6.1%.
On Wednesday, August 14, The Killer Bride‘s rating depreciated to 10.9% but still a winner against Love You Two only having 6.0%.
On Thursday, August 15, The Killer Bride reached its highest ratings for the week with 13.1% while Love You Two lagged behind at 6.3%.
On Friday, August 16, The Killer Bride went down to 10.3% though still triumphant on its five-day win streak over Love You Two which was also decreased to 6.0%.
