  • Are you excited to meet YouTube NextUp Manila Class of 2019?
  • Bringing together a diverse pool of talents from all over the Philippines
  • This year’s batch of winners include standout artists, farmer, lawyer and seafarer among others

YouTube NextUp has finally selected the 12 winners in this year’s nationwide search, choosing some of the most passionate content creators who will be given the chance to take the next big step for their YouTube careers.

YouTube NextUp Class of 2018. Last year’s winners: (seated, from left) Jam Raquion (Jam-packed), Carlyn Ocampo, Beverly Cumla, Elle Uy (Elle Uy Décor), (standing, from left) Joel Minas, Janine Teñoso, Dex Galsim (KITHARA), Alicia Litonjua (Lesha), Patrick San Juan (KITHARA), Stephen Flores (InReelLife), Poli Policarpio (KITHARA), Benedict Cua, Melissa Ricks, Amy Talaboc, Adrian Apollo Ortega (KITHARA) and Jun Tovera (KITHARA). The Class of 2019 is set to be announced on September 4, 2019.

NextUp Manila Class of 2019 brings together a diverse pool of talents from all over the Philippines.

The new roster of creators includes fast-rising stars such as two singer-songwriters who are making their mark in the local music scene; an entertainer who is sharing her love for music and beauty online; as well as a celebrity who is taking the spotlight as a chef content creator.

Also making it to the lineup are those who use their platform to share knowledge online: a professional lawyer who guides those who want to pursue a career in law; a Bicolano who is sharing his knowledge on poultry farming; and an inspiring Cebuana who shares advice on corporate life.

Completing the magic 12 are creators who share their passions and interests with their community: an avid cyclist taking audiences on a new adventure in each video; a free-spirited creative sharing beauty and grooming tips for men; a young charismatic college student-vlogger; an enthusiastic creator who is sharing fitspiration; and a maritime chief engineer sharing his life on the seas.

All winners of YouTube NextUp Manila are set to receive training from NextUp mentors and alumni, a P105,000 voucher for new production equipment, and hands-on guidance and strategic account management from the YouTube Creator and Artist Development team.

They will also participate in a 5-day creator camp where they will know the ins-and-outs of creating content and building their channels, as well as get the chance to produce their dream video projects.

YouTube NextUp was launched in 2011 with a mission to advance the growth of passionate creators from over 13 countries including India, Mexico, the United States, Russia, Brazil, Thailand, UAE, France, Germany, the UK, the Philippines and more.

Some notable NextUp Manila graduates include Benedict Cua, Lesha, Elle Uy, Team Lyqa, Nate Punzalan, and Reneé Dominique.
