Former celebrity Mayor Isko Moreno and FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano star Coco Martin recently had a meet-up and a short conversation which the latter shared on Instagram.
This rare incident ignited rumors about Moreno’s possible TV comeback presumably in Martin’s long-running action series.
But the actor played mysterious about his discussion with the Manila Mayor.
“Ay! Idolo ko ‘yun e’ surprise! Kung bakit kami nagkita. Pero ako talaga ang sumadya sa kanya and humingi ako ng appointment, kasi matagal ko na siya nakasama sa isang teleserye and nakipag appointment ako sa kanya and may pinag-usapan kami,” Martin shared in an interview at the sidelines of Sine Sandaan.

He also clarified that they did not tackle the remake of the FPJ’s classic movie Batang Quiapo during their meet-up.
Martin is now preoccupied with his movie which is set for release this December.
FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, which started airing on September 28, 2015, is now set to celebrate its fourth year anniversary this month. It has remained as a top-rating Kapamilya show throughout its run.
Martin also said that there are negotiations ongoing between the production and some Hollywood stars to join the top-rating series. At least three Hollywood stars are expected to join the Kapamilya series.
On May 10, 2019 ,international streaming platform Netflix uploaded Season 1 (50 episodes) of the series under the title Brothers.
