Angel Locsin proved to be a real Primetime action-drama queen after setting a record for The General’s Daughter.
After being the only Kapamilya teleserye which surpassed FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano in the ratings board, The General’s Daughter currently holds the highest finale rating for 2019.
The General’s Daughter which ended its run last Friday, October 4 has registered a rating of 18.6% based on the number reported by AGB Nielsen NUTAM People survey.
During its almost nine months on air, The General’s Daughter was consistent the top rater in its timeslot, beating its Kapuso rival.
The General’s Daughter even managed to edge out fellow Kapamilya show FPJ’s Ang Probinysano in the overall rankings.

Based on the NUTAM People ratings, The General’s Daughter captured the #1 position on September 2 (14% vs 13.5%), September 5 (14.1% vs 13.9%), September 6 (14% vs 13.5%). The two meanwhile were tied at 14.0% on September 3.
Kantar Media on the other hand, reported TGD’s lead of 0.4% against FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano on September 6, 2019 at 32.8% and 32.4%.
Meanwhile, TGD is followed by another Kapamilya teleserye Halik in the highest finale rankings with a finale rating of 16.0%
In third place is another Kapamilya teleserye Ngayon at Kailanman which starred Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto with 15.5%.
