Director Antoinette Jadaone lashed out at Cesar Montano and Philip Salvador through her Twitter account.
The director reacted when the two actors announced that they don’t get paid for performing for Filipinos in Russia.
Jadaone refused to believe that Cesar and Philip don’t get paid when performing. Jadaone reiterated that these actors and avid supporters of President Rodrigo Duterte are using the money of taxpayers for every excursion they make.
She said: “Luh proud pa! Buwis nga ng taong-bayan pinambayad. Ng pagpunta n’yo sa Russia (kasama rin ba Adidas?), syempre dapat wala na kayong bayad sa pagkanta! Pati ‘yun babayaran namin? Iba riiiin.”

Robin Padilla defended his two friends about using taxpayers’ money, stating that all of their expenses going abroad with the President were being shouldered by the actors themselves. He denied that they were using taxpayer’s money.
Robin said, “Kami ang bumibili ng pamasahe po namin, ang mga hotel namin, ang nagbabayad niyan, kami. Mukha ba kaming walang pera? Nagsiserbisyo lang kami sa mga OFW natin, kasi yung mga OFW, yun ang mga tunay na bayani.”
