Several celebrities, public personalities, and netizens alike were in unison in expressing their disgust and disappointment with Mocha Uson’s return to government.
On Monday, September 30, Malacanang announced the appointment of Mocha Uson as Deputy Executive Director of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA).

The news didn’t sit well with some celebrities and netizens who took to Twitter to vent their frustration about Uson’s re-appointment to the government.
Actors Enchong Dee and Khalil Ramos were two of the celebrities who shared their sentiments on the issue.
For Enchong, it’s discouraging to see elected officials’ failure to implement the law and follow the constitution.
“It’s discouraging to be a good citizen when the elected officials that implement the law fail to follow the constitution. #AkoLangTo (facepalm icon),” he tweeted.

Mocha has been in and out of government. She was first appointed by Pres. Rodrigo Duterte as one of the board members of MTRCB. After her stint at the MTRCB board, she was transferred to the PCOO as assistant secretary. In the May 2019 elections, Mocha ran as a partylist representative but lost.
