To end the speculations that he was leaving ABS-CBN after he parted ways with his management Viva Artists Agency, James Reid released an official statement with the help of Kapunan & Castillo Lawyers.
“To put an end to all the recent speculation, Mr. James Reid would like to make it clear that, after careful deliberation, he has decided not to renew his contracts with the Viva Group.”
Although the actor and songwriter left Viva, he mentioned in the letter that he really appreciates everyone who was able to contribute to his career’s success.
“James greatly appreciates the enormous contribution that has been made by his friends at Viva, especially ‘Boss Vic’ del Rosario and the management group, and expresses his sincere gratitude to everyone at Viva who has contributed to the success of his career in the Philippines’ entertainment industry over the past 7 years.”
In addition to that, James is eyeing to grow his own family management company, Reid Entertainment, Inc. James also wants to focus on his own music company, Careless Manila, and pursue his big plans for it.
He said, “I’m focusing on my music label right now. I wanna give it a chance, I wanna see how far I can go with my music and I have big plans for it.”
James is now working on his forthcoming series with MOMOLAND’s Nancy McDonie titled Soulmate. The upcoming series will be produced by Dreamscape and directed by Antoinette Jadaone.
