Ken Chan and Rita Daniela’s series One of the Baes kicked off its pilot week with successful ratings. It premiered last September 30, Monday in GMA Network’s Telebabad line up replacing The Better Woman.
Through Twitter, Ken expressed his gratitude and happiness for the high ratings earned by the primetime series.
According to NUTAM ratings for October 1, Tuesday, One of the Baes recorded a score of 8.4% beating ABS-CBN’s The Killer Bride which got 7.8%. Meanwhile, the Kapuso series which had a 7.2% score was also victorious against the new Koreanovela series Code Name: Terrius with a low rating of 5.5%
Ken announced this on Twitter and wrote: “Pangako hindi namin kayo bibiguin! Mga Bok maraming-maraming salamat sa inyo! Team ONE OF THE BAES congratulations!!! 🤩 LORD GOD ang lakas talaga namin sayo”

On October 2, Wednesday, One of the Baes maintained its dominance with a rating of 8.6% which is .2% higher than The Killer Bride‘s 8.4%. while Code Name: Terrius also lost with a 6.2% score against the 7.3% score of One of the Baes.
“Ramdam na ramdam namin ang suporta at pagmamahal niyo mga Bok at ka-Baes! Maraming-maraming-maraming-maraming-maraming-maraming-maraming-maraming salamat po! Mamaya ulit nood po kayo ng ONE OF THE BAES!” Ken wrote.

Ken also shared a video of showing himself with Rita and the One of the Baes cast who jumped for joy upon knowing the successful ratings of the series.
“Ganito kami nung nalaman namin ang magandang balita about sa ratings ng One Of The Baes 😍 Siya nga pala sabay-sabay ulit tayo manood ng ONE OF THE BAES ngayong 9:20pm! May surprise kami sa inyo. Abangan!”
The two lead stars of the series are also honored to work with veteran actors Amy Austria, Tonton Gutierrez, Melanie Marquez, Roderick Paulate, and Jestoni Alarcon.
The RitKen love team recently made noise on social media after news came out that they were allegedly snubbed by Kapamilya actress Alex Gonzaga at an airport. Fortunately, RitKen and Alex are now on good terms
The RitKen love team became popular after they were accidentally paired up in the 2018 series My Special Tatay. In the series, Ken played as Boyet, a young man with a mild intellectual disability while Rita was an antagonist who lived as a young prostitute with loose morals.
Ken was supposed to be paired up with Arra San Agustin due to their chemistry in the now-defunct epidemicserye, The Cure. When Rita’s character Aubrey got pregnant, it became more interesting for viewers to see Ken and Rita’s chemistry.
