MANILA, November 2019 — Ayala Land in partnership with world renowned art collective teamLab bring to the Philippines Nuvali teamLab Water: Interactive Water Show.

Nuvali teamLab Water features a variety of interactive artworks projected on a larger-than-life water screen display that spans 100-meters wide and 15-meters high. The exhibit is co-created in real time by visitors through the teamLab Water Show smartphone application, allowing guests to participate in the display, creating an all new world together and becoming an integral part of the art.

Mesmerizing audiences all over the world, from New York, Tokyo, London, and Paris, to Singapore, Beijing, Taipei, and Melbourne among others, this is teamLab’s first-ever digital art exhibition in the Philippines. The art collective delighted hundreds of guests as they gathered and watched this first-of-its-kind water spectacle during the show premier and starting November 22, more and more Filipinos can witness this all year round!

The creator teamLab, is the team behind the MORI Building DIGITAL ART MUSEUM: teamLab Borderless in Odaiba, Tokyo, the massive body immersive space teamLab Planets TOKYO in Toyosu, Tokyo, Singapore’s largest interactive digital playground, Future World: Where Art Meets Science, and recently also opened Wander, Explore, and Discover: #teamLabBorderless in Shanghai, China.

As the largest sustainable estate development of Ayala Land, in partnership with the Yulo family, Nuvali is the ideal venue to showcase the country’s first interactive water show, weaving together natural elements with teamLab’s innovative art expressions. With its distinct sprawling and green landscape, surrounded by a variety of retail and recreational treats, residents and visitors can definitely get their dose of world-class art, fun and relaxation on weekends.

“In Ayala Land, our priority is to be able to give our residents and visitors avenues that can foster a sense of community, excitement, and even appreciation for art. From our signature lights and sounds show, art fairs, wellness and other community events across all our estate developments, we consistently try to innovate ways we can make unique and memorable experiences for the whole family.” said John Estacio, Ayala Land Assistant Vice President and Nuvali Estate head.

Prior to viewing the water show, the guests downloaded the teamLab Water Show app on the Apple store or Google Play for Android. This water show uses interactive art to enhance the presence of people in the same physical space and to explore a continuity without boundaries between people and the world around them.

Each artwork gives every audience a different experience, and by simply opening the teamLab Water Show smartphone application on your phone, you can learn more about the art being shown and even be able to play with the elements!

“Art created using digital technology has the ability to change relationships among people who are present in the same space. If the interaction of other people with an artwork creates change that we feel is beautiful, then the presence of others can itself become a positive element.” says teamLab.

Staying true to the standards set by teamLab on a global scale, the artworks gave residents and visitors the chance to create a beautiful world together, thereby enhancing the presence of people in the same physical space.

Get ready to immerse yourself in this magical water show! The show will run year-round starting November 22, 2019, and admission is free. It will be a 30-minute spectacle every hour from 6:00PM to 9:00pm, from Fridays to Sundays at Nuvali. Visit http://nuvali.ph to know more!
