Kapuso Primetime Couple Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera will be seen again on primetime television.
No one seems to be more excited about Marian’s comeback than her husband Dingdong.
In an exclusive interview with the actor, he shared how excited he was for Marian’s comeback, who gave birth to their second child, Ziggy, last April.
“I’m sure maraming naka-miss sa kanya sa pagganap sa TV and ako rin, I want to see her on TV soon. Kung kailan, hindi pa natin, specifically, alam but I think it’s gonna happen pretty soon.”
Dingdong will also star in an upcoming teleserye, Descendants of the Sun (The Philippine Adaptation), which is one of the biggest offerings of GMA Network this coming 2020.
In the interview, Dingdong shared the true moral behind Descendants of the Sun,
“Wala naman sa laki kundi nasa puso. Ang Descendants of the Sun puro puso, lalung-lalo na ‘yung characters and ‘yung istorya. Mukha siyang malaki dahil may giyera pero ang totoong nanagyayari d’yan ay ‘yung magagandang kwento ng pag-ibig, ‘di ba? ”
Dingdong also shared how the series will portray the patriotism of soldiers.
“Yung pagmamahal nila sa bayan, ‘yung pagmamahal nila sa kanilang trabaho, ‘yung dedikasyon. ‘Yung mga gano’ng bagay, so very exciting.”
Cain at Abel with Dennis Trillo was Dongdong’s last teleserye while Marian’s was Super Ma’am last January 2018.
In 2020, Marian will star in an upcoming romcom-action series, First Yaya, with Gabby Concepcion.
These two teleseryes are some of GMA Network’s biggest offerings for the Kapuso viewers on their 70th anniversary.
