Is ABS-CBN’S late-night comedy talk show, Gandang Gabi Vice ending soon?
There are rumors that the show hosted by Unkabogable star Vice Ganda will soon come to an end because of GMA’s The Boobay and Tekla Show constantly beating it in the ratings.
Gandang Gabi, Vice has been running for eight years now and has had its share of controversies through the years.
In 2013 during his concert at the Araneta Coliseum, Vice’ rape joke about Jessica Soho landed him in hot water. The controversial issue allegedly led to some advertisers pulling out of the show, despite it being on top of the ratings.
Last 2018, Sarah Geronimo and James Reid were supposed to promote their movie Miss Granny but Sarah’s Mommy Divine stopped the taping of the said episode.
According to reports, Vice and Sarah were talking about Sarah’s love life. When Vice asked if Sarah and Matteo Guidecelli had kissed already, the actress/singer answered, “Hindi lang kiss” which caused Mommy Divine to halt the interview.
The Boobay and Tekla Show is winning against Gandang Gabi, Vice according to NUTAM People’s Ratings,
Last January 19, 2020, The Boobay and Tekla Show garnered a 4.5 rating against Gandang Gabi, Vice which only got a 3.9% in ratings.

Rumors are also spreading that Gandang Gabi, Vice will be replaced with a musical show.
As of now, there’s no confirmed reports if the show will be canceled.
