GMA Network just released a teaser for the much talked about live adaptation of the 1977 anime series Voltes V Legacy. Reports about this newest Kapuso show have been circulating since 2018.
It was on New Year’s Day when the network finally released the teaser on their official Facebook account, getting over 1.4 million views as of this writing.
The teaser also gathered at least 43,000 shares, 58,000 reactions, and at least 8,300 comments.
The TV comeback of the animated series is one of GMA Network’s projects for 2020 as they celebrate their 70th anniversary.
GMA Network resident director Mark Reyes known for his previous projects like Encantadia and Mulawin The Movie is reported to be helming the series. Kapuso star Ruru Madrid is also rumored to be taking on the lead role of Ken’ichi Go (Steve Armstrong), the Voltes V team leader along with actresses Mikee Quintos and Kyline Alcantara joining the cast as well.
