Kim Domingo became famous in 2014 for her dubsmash “Twerk it Like Miley.” She signed a contract with GMA Network’s talent agency the following year and then played an antagonist role in Juan Happy Love Story and Bubble Gang, the latter of which is she is currently a mainstay.
The actress-model was featured on the cover of FHM Philippines’ December 2015 and January 2017 issues. Kim was introduced by Ginebra San Miguel as their 2017 calendar girl in October 2016.
After posing for sexy magazines and accepting daring roles on television and movies, she is now working on in fulfilling her dream of becoming a dramatic actress. Two years ago, she decided to stop accepting sexy roles.
Recently on her Instagram, Kim posted a New Year’s post reminiscing about 2019’s happenings.
Aside from being grateful for the blessings received, she pointed out her decision on having a new image in the show business industry.
“Una sa lahat, gusto kong magpasalamat sa mga biyayang natanggap ko nung 2019. ‘Yung mga biyaya na mas madami pa sa inaasahan ko. Gusto ko din mag ‘thank you’ sa mga taong hanggang ngayon [ay] sumusuporta sa ‘kin, nagmamahal. Kahit medyo nagbalot-balot na’ko andyan pa din.
“Kayo ang patunay na hindi pisikal ang inyong minahal sa akin kundi kung ano talaga ako. Salamat din sa respeto,” the Bubble Gang comedian posted.
Kim sincerely expressed her gratitude to her supporters who stayed and “respected” her decision of no longer accepting sexy roles.
“…Ganito pala ang pakiramdam kapag mas madami na ang taong rumirespeto kesa bumabastos sa’yo. Mas masarap pa kesa sa feeling ko noon nung mga panahon na pinagpipyestahan ako ng mga tao dahil sa pisikal na naipapakita ko sa madla.
“Pero gusto ko din mag ‘thank you’ sa mga taong ‘yun dahil kung hindi din dahil sa kanila walang Kim Domingo.”
She was also happy to announce that her first vlog will soon be uploaded on her own YouTube channel.
