The largest global sports media property in Asian history, ONE Championship, has teamed up with Makati Medical Center, one of the top hospitals in the Philippines, for two upcoming major martial arts events in the country to jumpstart 2020.
MakatiMed is set to provide pre- and post-bout medical assistance on January 30, 2020 for ONE Hero Series.
The hospital is also the choice for medical services for the ONE: Fire & Fury event at the Mall of Asia Arena on January 31, 2020. The event will feature Joshua Pacio from the Philippines and Alexa Silva from Brazil in a battle for the ONE Strawweight World Championship in the main event.
The Philippine lineup for other weight divisions include Eduard Folayang (Lightweight), Danny Kingad (Flyweight), as well as Lito Adiwang (Strawweight), Gina Iniong (Atomweight), and Jomary Torres (Atomweight).
Last year, ONE Championship also partnered with MakatiMed for the ONE: Masters of Fate event which saw two Filipino athletes, Joshua Pacio and Rene Catalan, go head to head in the main event.
