Former member of “The Hunks” Carlos Agassi admitted being choosy at the age of 40 as his reason for staying single.
In an interview with some of the members of the media, Agassi said he is still willing to work on new projects as long the offer is good.
“Basta maganda naman yung offer and of course kasama yung mga dating kong na kasama I’ll be more than happy.”
“If you last as showbiz more than 5 years which is ako 24, parang hindi na siya work, love mo na siya, its part of your life,” he said.
Agassi stays positive when he was asked if he’s willing to work with the new generation like Julia Barretto on a project. He said that he could be her antagonist, brother or even a partner in a May-December love affair.
When it comes to his love life, he admitted that he was still dating around.
“Hanggang ngayon dating pa rin eh, choosy masyado eh.
“I believe kasi in love compatibility, all the stars aligned, click kayo, nag-usap kayo eventually maging kayo. So far, wala pa but hopefully dumating na kasi 40 na ako parang would wanna be having at least two kids before 50 di ba.”
Though he doesn’t care whether the girl is in showbiz or not as long he’s in love, he still hopes that his future wife would be non-showbiz to be more hands-on with the kids.
“Alamo mo kahit anong gustuhin ko pag nain-love ka wala ka nang choice. But hopefully sana non-showbiz, kasi gusto ko kunwari nagwowork ako, hands-on siya sa magiging anak namin and kung nasa normal job siya ako naman yung hands-on.”
He is concerned about the values that the kid would pick up if parents are not the ones who take care of him or her.

“Iba yung values na naipapasa mo, yung personality, character sa bata especially kung sa ‘yo dumaan. Ikaw ang nagpalaki, kayo mismo mga magulang. Kasi kung sa nannies lang, Tito, tita yung mga traits soon nakukuha hindi sa ‘yo.”
Agassi maintains his body figure through a daily workout. As advised by his dermatologist, he minimizes his exposure to sunlight.
He has been a Guitar apparel endorser for 17 years now.
