Mocha Uson says post on PPEs was an ‘honest mistake’; netizens react

Served with a subpoena for posting fake news once again, Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) deputy administrator Mocha Uson submitted herself to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) on Monday, May 18, and told the NBI her post was an “honest mistake.”

“Ako po ay papasailalim sa proseso ng ating batas. Hindi ako tutulad sa iba na porket napa sa ilalim sa imbistigasyon ay iiyak na ng press freedom. Naniniwala ako na may gumaganang hustisya sa ating bansa. Salamat po,” Uson said.

Margaux ‘Mocha’ Uson was summoned over a Facebook post in April with photos of personal protective equipment (PPE) that the Government supposedly purchased. Social media users, however, pointed out that her post included photos from a private foundation.
