With Sofia Andres’ big revelation that she was already a mother, many became curious about Daniel Miranda, the father of her daughter.
Daniel is said to come from a wealthy family in Cebu but there is more to him than meets the eye.
Daniel is one of the sons of Martin Miranda and Angelique Lhuillier. He grew up with his brother Enrique in Cebu. His mother Angelique is an entrepreneur while his father, Martin, has been a karter, motocross rider and a drag-racer.
In an interview with Manila Standard, Martin said that he used to take his sons to ride their pocket bikes until he got too busy. Since he knew that it is a dangerous sport, he decided to let them do karting instead, but it was Daniel who took it in the competition level while his brother only did it as a hobby. Now, Daniel is a professional racer.
Daniel is also a descendant of the Lhuillier family because of his mother whose parents are Philippe Lhuillier and Edna Diago Lhuillier, Daniel’s grandparents. Philippe is a diplomat, businessman, and philanthropist who is best known for being the Philippine ambassador. “This is the only heritage house on this strip,” Angelique shared. “It’s part of our history.”
The grand, seven-story estate was renovated by sisters Camille Lhuillier and Angelique Lhuillier. Now, it home to the sisters’ European artwork, objets d’art, and antiquities, and has been described as a “cultural purveyor housed in a pre-war mansion.”
His brother Enrique graduated from the Australian Catholic University in Sydney. He is working in PJ Lhuillier Group of Companies as an intern, trainee, and pawnshop operations associate. Enrique is currently working at Go Negosyo as a programs development associate.
