Kapuso artist and former Star Magic talent Glaiza de Castro expressed her thoughts on ABS-CBN’s franchise issue.
Her post on Twitter comes after the 12th hearing of the ABS-CBN franchise renewal.
“Hindi na ito labanan ng istasyon, laban to ng mga Pilipino. Lahat tayo apektado. Dasal, kapit, akap,” she tweeted.

She pointed out that the issue is not about the rivalry in stations anymore, but a fight of the Filipinos. Despite being a Kapuso, Glaiza still showed her support for the Kapamilya network.
One of the agendas at the 12th hearing was the alleged “political bias” of ABS-CBN with regards to its failure to air campaign ads of some candidates, like President Rodrigo Duterte, in 2016.
According to the network’s CEO and president, Carlo Katigbak, the ads aired under a system of “first come first served” and also stated that there were unaired ads coming from candidates from different political parties as well.
