Actor Diego Loyzaga says that he is happy for Sofia Andres, his ex-girlfriend who recently had a controversial revelation.
“I am really happy for Sofia. I see in her posts that she’s happy. Someone’s well-being, their mental health, it’s important and nakikita ko sa napo-post ng family ni Sofia at siya mismo na she’s happy. So I couldn’t wish her anything more in the world but that,” Diego said in an interview with ABS-CBN News’ MJ Felipe.
He said that they haven’t talked with each other yet and though he is ready to talk with Sofia, he doesn’t want to message her personally to avoid issues.
“Pero sinabi ko sa sarili ko when the day comes na I bump into her or I see her, I think definitely (mag-uusap kami). Pero for me to message, ayaw ko lang kasi baka a different message is received from the other people, from their part. Siyempre walang masamang tinapay for me, pero ayaw ko lang makabastos in any way. But of course I really do wish her the best and I’m happy that she’s happy,” he added.
On Father’s Day, Sofia revealed that she already has a daughter with her boyfriend, Daniel Miranda. She also shared her pregnancy story and how her boyfriend became her shoulder to lean on.
In 2018, Sofia broke her silence about the real score between her and Diego. She admitted that they are both avoiding each other and they even unfriended each other on social media platforms.
“Kasi dati po ako, lagi akong naka-social media, so nakikita ko rin. Honestly ngayon, hindi kami friends kahit sa Instagram and Twitter,” she said.
Sofia also said that their differences in terms of lifestyle may be a factor of their incompatibility which pushed them to go their separate ways.
