The love team of Rita Daniela and Ken Chan or RitKen is set to have an upcoming film that will be their biggest break.
Harlene Bautista’s Heaven’s Best Entertainment announced that they are producing the said film for the love team despite quarantine.
According to Director Louie, they will follow the safety protocols and guidelines implemented by the PMPPA, the Philippine Motion Pictures Producers Association, of which Heaven’s Best is a member.
“Para kang nag-shoot sa Hollywood na isang ikot mo lang, nandoon na ang kailangan. So, hindi na kami kailangang bumaklas nang malayo, ganun. Tapos, ang shooting namin, sunud-sunod na araw ‘yan, wala nang uwian.”
Ken and Rita will be locked in on the set during the shooting in Pagsanjan, Laguna because it will take a long time.
The upcoming film of Ken and Rita will be titled My First, Your Last: Luis loves Luisa. Since we’re still in the middle of a pandemic, production even talked about how they would release it in case cinemas are still not open.
“Meron na rin kaming napagplanuhan o napag-usapan na options, para maging mas malawak ang pagpapalabasan nung pelikula.”
According to Harlene, even though cinemas won’t still be open there are still a lot of platforms where the movie can be released.
“E, ngayon naman, ang dami-dami nang platforms na pwede. But of course, kumbaga, priority natin is maipalabas siya sa mga sinehan, di ba? With the hope na maging normal na.
“Kasi, we have to ano, e… hindi naman tayo pwedeng ma-stuck na, ‘Hay naku, walang sinehan, walang manoood, walang ganyan.”
Rita Daniela and Ken Chan’s love team, #RitKen, was an unexpected success.
Their love team started on GMA Network’s afternoon serye, My Special Tatay which garnered a lot of fans because of their funny and unusual pairing. RitKen later starred in their own series One of the Baes.
