‘Unahin natin ang corrupt government officials’: DJ Chacha suggests death penalty applied first to corrupt public officials

MOR 101.9’s DJ Chacha expressed her fury with the recently revealed corruption in PhilHealth and suggested to implement the death penalty first to corrupt government officials.

The DJ was not able to control her emotions as she learned about the anomaly in the health insurance agency.

She said that sometimes she wonders how these ‘thieves’ can sleep at night knowing that they are stealing the money of the people and how they have the guts to feed their family using the money they have stolen.

Chacha said.

[Sometimes, I come to think how do these corrupt officials sleep at night? Just to remind you, you cannot bring that to your grave]

She also emphasized how citizens work hard just to be able to contribute to the agency yet its officials dare to steal the funds.

NOT WORTH IT. Sayang hulog ha, ‘tapos nanakawin lang! Panagutin ang mga kawatan sa Philhealth.” the DJ said.

She then suggested prioritizing these corrupt government officials if ever the death penalty will be reimplemented.

DJ Chacha then pleaded to President Rodrigo Duterte to fulfill his promise to end corruption in the country.

Noon pa may anomalya sa iba’t ibang ahensya ng gobyerno. Mr. President umaasa po kami na tutuparin niyo ang inyong pangako na you will end corruption in our beloved country.

– Sen. Ping Lacson

“Noon pa may anomalya sa iba’t ibang ahensya ng gobyerno. Mr. President, umaasa po kami na tutuparin niyo ang inyong pangako na you will end corruption in our beloved country.

[Even before, there are anomalies in different government agencies. Mr. President, we are hoping that you will fulfill your promise to end corruption in the country. Clean the mess in the government not only the mess at Boracay and Manila Bay]

Nakakapunyeta!” she outraged.

Recently, former anti-fraud officer legal officer Thorrsson Keith revealed the corruption inside PhilHealth. Accordingly, these PhilHealth officials have stolen about 15 billion pesos from the agency’s funds.

Meanwhile, Duterte is known to be the number one promoter of the death penalty revival. He even mentioned it during his latest SONA. However, Duterte said that he will not fire the PhilHealth chief unless evidence will be presented.
