As ABS-CBN’s afternoon drama series Love Thy Woman reaches its finale, one can’t help but think about the scenes that could have been if it wasn’t for the pandemic,
At the virtual presscon for Love Thy Woman hosted by Dreamscape, lead star Kim Chiu looked back on her journey for the series
One lesson she’s learned from the series is that you shouldn’t deal with personal problems alone. She thanked the people around her for being a source of support including her co-stars.
“Sa sobrang daming nangyari, masaya ako na ganito ang perspective ko sa buhay — di ko masyado sinasarili lahat. I’m very lucky na maraming tao sa paligid ko na alam kong andyan for me at sila na rin yung co-stars ko.”

“We talked to each other, nagkukwentuhan kami ni Mama Shine, Ms. Eula, Ms. Ruffa, Yam, sila direk, mga staff and crew, hinuhugot namin ang lakas namin sa isa’t isa dahil pare-pareho kami ng nararamdaman.”
But what can we expect with the final episode of Love Thy Woman?
Directors Andoy Ranay and Jojo Saguin have announced they will rely heavily on their “fantastic, amazing and mega-talented” cast to bring the season to a close.
“Sila talaga iyong magpapasabog,” gushed Ranay. “Kasi hindi tayo puwede magpasabog ng building, hindi tayo magpasabog ng kotse —iyong mga literal na pasabog. Hindi puwede eh. So nagpasabog ng aktingan itong mga babaeng ito. Iyon ang pasabog na gagawin namin.”
Saguin also noted how the cast formed a special bond with each other as they locked in on the set.
Love Thy Woman is about feuding Filipino-Chinese families lead by Kim Chiu, Xian Lim, Yam Concepcion, Eula Valdez, Sunshine Cruz, and Ruffa Gutierrez, it focuses now on who killed the character of Christopher De Leon.
