Kapamilya actor Enchong Dee can’t help but slam ACT-CIS Partylist Rep. Eric Yap’s most recent interview on ANC.
In a tweet, Enchong didn’t mince words in sharing his disgust over Yap’s utter arrogance and lies during the live interview with ABS-CBN journalist Christian Esguerra.
“I felt disgusted listening to this person’s lies and stupidity.”

On Wednesday, Yap guested on ANC’s Matters of Fact.
During the interview, host Christian Esguerra asked Yap if he’s proud of his vote rejecting the ABS-CBN franchise given the current shift in the House of Representatives leadership.
In his response, Yap said while he did not regret his vote, he cannot say also that he’s proud of it. Yap also added that sometimes one should pass through trials of hardship to learn their lessons.
“I don’t have regret, I’m not proud pero I don’t regret, because why? I think it will be better for the Filipino people na kung macocorrect nila yung konting konting flaws nyo sa news it will be better for the Filipino people,” said Yap.
“Sometimes you have to do what you don’t have to do just to teach them a lesson eh. I’m not saying na tama ito but I think it’s fate diba,” he added.
Yap is one of the 70 Congressmen who voted against the ABS-CBN franchise application.
Prior to the voting, Yap also claimed that he was being bribed with 200 million by an ABS-CBN emissary to cast his vote in favor of the network.
His claim was met with criticism and skepticism prompting him to backtrack his claim and say that he’s not really sure if the person was indeed from ABS-CBN or just someone pretending to be from ABS-CBN.
Meanwhile, aside from Enchong, netizens also can’t help but react to Yap’s outrageous interview.
Netizen @Artsden said she herself felt ashamed of what Yap is talking about during the interview.
