Kapamilya actress Erich Gonzales is set to star in an upcoming drama series titled ‘La Vida Lena’ along with actors Carlo Aquino, JC de Vera, and Kit Thompson.
She posted the poster of the series on her Instagram account on Wednesday, October 7.

However, the 30-year-old actress still hasn’t given the full details regarding her show.
Erich and JC have already worked together on previous projects when they both starred in ‘Once a Princess’ along with Enchong Dee which makes their team up with the upcoming show as something that is not new.
La Vida Lena will be under the production of Dreamscape Entertainment and will be directed by ABS-CBN directors Jerry Lopez Sineneng and Jojo Saguin.
Dreamscape has also posted about the series in its official Instagram account.
The upcoming series will be the comeback of Erich in showbiz after being away from the limelight for about two years. Her last project with ABS-CBN was The Blood Sisters in 2018.
It can be recalled that Erich was supposed to star in Dreamscape’s Love Thy Woman last year but the actress resigned due to creative differences.
On the other hand, it was confirmed that Agot Isidro, Raymond Bagatsing, and Janice De Belen were among the artists to also star in the show.
Pen Medina, Ruby Ruiz, Soliman Cruz, Christian Vasquez, Malou Crisologo, Josh Ivan Morales, Hasna Cabral, and Sofia Andres are also said to be a part of the series.
‘La Vida Lena’ was originally titled ‘Ang Lihim ni Ligaya’ with Ivana Alawi as the lead star. However, Erich took over the role along with having a new title for the show.
Ivana has previously answered questions regarding her series saying that she didn’t want to risk the health of her family as the coronavirus still remains a threat.
“Actually, guys, sa ngayon, hindi talaga ako lumalabas. Takot na takot ako lumabas kasi takot ako sa COVID. Hindi ko iri-risk na magtrabaho ako, mag-taping ako, mag-shooting, ‘tapos may mangyari kay Mona. Iyon talaga, at saka si Mama,” she said.
“May mga shootings and may mga tapings na gusto nang magsimula, pero ako na mismo nagsasabi na hindi pa, kasi takot talaga ako sa COVID. And iyong main issue is ayokong mahawa si Mama, si Mona, ‘tsaka si Kuya [Hash Alawi], mga tao dito sa bahay,” she added.
Erich Gonzales started her career in showbiz after she became a contestant in the reality talent search Star Circle Quest. She then landed a lead role with Katorse in 2009 which became a breakthrough project for her. She has then starred in several series such as Magkaribal (2010), Juan dela Cruz (2013), Two Wives (2014-2015), and Be My Lady (2016).
She recently starred in the online series You. Me. Maybe which she directed. She starred alongside her long time on-screen partner and friend Enchong Dee.
