(October 2020) – MARI today released their highly-anticipated debut single Not coming Down via Muzik Move Records.
Not Coming Down is about embracing the struggles, growths and challenges of fresh starts in, perhaps, not so healthy ways. Not Coming Down is the first single off MARI’s first EP Album – Altered State of Mind which is a modern yet universal coming of age story tackling heartbreak, failures and facing tough decisions.
Not Coming Down expresses a personal story of Justin Mari – lead vocal. He just got out of a 5 year relationship and he didn’t know how to cope. He made some irresponsible decisions that made him depressed which led to the song Not Coming Down. He wants people to dance their sadness away.
Altered State of Mind EP Album is just a change of perspective in life. MARI has always thought that life would go a certain way but now they are on a completely different path. They are terrified and excited at the same time. All these songs are personal and they hope it can help keep people company when they’re feeling down.
