Vic Sotto finally spoke about the recent bashing that his daughter Tali received on social media.
In an interview with Jessica Soho, Vic revealed that despite the criticism Tali receives, for him what’s more important is how Tali makes people happy, “Ang importante naman, higit na nakararami ‘yung napapasaya ni Tali.
He said that he tries to understand that these bashers might be going through a difficult time in their lives.
“I try to understand these people dahil malay natin baka may pinagdadaanan o may problema lang sa buhay, mainit ang ulo niya at the time. Iniintindi ko na lang ‘yon. Mas importante, mas nakararami ‘yung good comments,” he explained.
A netizen recently called Baby Tali ugly and then got a stern warning from Pauleen Luna. On the Facebook account of Patrich Walter L. Harris, the netizen shared a post from Tali’s Facebook page and captioned it with, “Pangit na Bata”

This caught the reaction of netizens who immediately called him out but he didn’t retract his statements and still insisted that Baby Tali is indeed ugly.
Vic Sotto also mentioned that some people don’t know how to use social media and are not mindful of what they post before they click.
“One of the risks, disadvantage lalo na sa social media ngayon, mayroon din talaga tayong mga kababayan ngayon na iresponsable sa paggamit ng social media.”
Pauleen Luna did not hesitate to confront and remind baby Tali’s basher after reading the insults he inflicted that he can sue him, “I can sue you for shaming and cyberbullying a minor.”
The netizen later apologized.
Thank you so much.”

Furthermore, Vic Sotto stressed that some people’s attitude can never be corrected thus it is better to leave such criticisms alone, he then reminded that others should be responsible using social media platforms.
