After releasing a collaborative single with PrillyLatuconsina in September 2020, now Vidi Aldiano directly goes with Grammy Award-winning musician, songwriter, singer and music producer, PJ Morton who is also known as the famous keyboardist of Maroon 5.
They came up with collaboration by making mashed ups song entitled “I Can’t Wait x TakBisaBersama”.
Starting from the upload of Vidi’s admiration for PJ Morton’s figure on social media, Vidi finally got the opportunity to start a conversation with PJ Morton through the initiation of a label / distributor from the United States, EMPIRE. After that they decided to create a collaboration that is rarely done by musicians in general, namely by combining two songs that have been released by each artist, “I Can’t Wait and TakBisaBersama”. The song was released on November 13, 2020, was recorded separately in Jakarta and Louisiana, United States. And Uniquely, Vidi succeeded in making PJ sing the song “TakBisaBersama” in IndonesianLanguange, and also sang PJ Morton’s “I Can’t Wait”.
“Honestly, I have a hard time with bahasa, but after hearing the way you sing, I’m sure this song is about a couple who can’t be together” said PJ.
