As the host of Pinoy Big Brother since its pilot Season, Toni Gonzaga finally gave her opinion on the often said ‘scripted ang PBB’ comment.
At the media conference of Pinoy Big Brother‘s newest season PPB Connect, Toni was asked what she considers as the nastiest comment that she heard against the show.
“Siguro ano nung simula season 1 nung last season 1 hinde siya nastiest pero its a common comment ng mga bashers or yung mga haters na scripted daw ang PBB.
“That everything that we’re doing inside the house pati yung mga housemates umaarte so parang yun every season ganun.
“Nung first syempre bagong host palang ako batang bata ka palang nun walang social media nung nag start ang PBB eh 2005 eh Pinoy Exchange lang ang social media na meron ang PBB nun at mga artista.”
“Yun lang dati yung social media dun ka lang makakakuha ng reaction from people, mga bashing na makukuha mo at mababasa.”
And since she was just starting her hosting career in Pinoy Big Brother, she really had a hard time finding the her stand on the said comment.
“Yung time na yun hinde siya ganun na nag re register sa akin kase parang kabuuan ng show hinahanap mo pa rin yung magiging stand ko di ba? I’m sure lahat ng host ng experience ‘to. Sino ba ako as a host, finding my self along the way syempre I was 20 years old.”
“Yun lang ang hinde ko talga ma aaccept yung sinabi nilang scripted ang PBB kase syempre hindi namin alam ‘paano natin sasabihin na hinde scripted ang PBB.
“Hanggang sa eventually kinakausap namin si Direk Lauren at PBB family namin sina Marco sabi nila i let go niyo na yan alam niyo naman hindi totoo.”
