Its Showtime! hosts Vice Ganda and Kim Chui surpassed the three-year-limit that was once imposed on their respective showbiz careers.

During the Tawag ng Tanghalan segment, Kim and Vice shared how uncertain their career are when they were just starting.

The conversation started when ‘resbaker’ Evelyn Martinez admitted that she felt that she was not good enough anymore at some point in her career.

Comedian Vice Ganda then resonated with her and said that he also felt that he’s already outdated back then.

Chinita Princess shared the struggle of coping with the fresh roster of talents and platforms.

Adding up to the feeling of uncertainty is the fact that Vice Ganda and Kim Chiu’s career were once imposed to a limit of three years.

“Nung nagsisimula ako tinaningan ako, kakalabas ko lang (sa PBB),” Chiu shared.

Vice then recounted how a close showbiz friend of his told him that a typical comedian’s life in showbiz is only good for three years.

“Max daw ng komedyante, lalo na pag bakla, 3 years,” the comedian said.

Kim Chiu did not come from a talent competition show but she worked hard to be good at whatever she does. She’s very masipag and THAT IS TALENT. 3 years lang daw siya .. she’s now 15years in showbiz, many came and go but she’s still here! Treasured and very much relevant! pic.twitter.com/4JzXDE3Oh7

Accordingly, his friend even advised him to enjoy every moment of his career for it will end soon.

Kim launched her career through Pinoy Big Brother where she was hailed as the first-ever teen edition winner in 2006.

Her showbiz career was filled with successful movies and projects that helped her rise to prominence and be named as Princess of Philippine Movies and TV.

Even though she recently faced criticisms because of her Bawal Lumabas gaffe, it did not hinder her to continue her career in showbiz.

And now it seems that her loyalty to ABS-CBN is paying off as she afforded with new projects and offerings. With this, she is being dubbed as the newest Star Magic queen.

Meanwhile, Vice has been active in showbiz since 2009. The noontime shows Its Showtime, paved a way for his career breakthrough.

He also ventured into the film industry where his comedy-themed movies were widely patronized by the public. Out of the 10 highest-grossing Filipino film ranking of Box-Office Mojo, six are her movies.

The comedian also has its own Sunday night show, Gandang Gabi, Vice. He was also a judge in talent-search shows like Pilipinas Got Talent and Idol Philippines.

Recently, he also invested more time into vlogging in which his YouTube channel already has more than four million subscribers.

She also showed to the public his newest house which is a product of her hard work and perseverance for several years.
