In her caption, Mariel highlighted that she lost 30 pounds. However, she noted that she still has a long way to go.
Many speculations surfaced online, with some thinking that the host is preparing for something. Some think that she is preparing for a new upcoming project after her hiatus. Some also believe that she is just focusing on her health.
Nonetheless, it’s great to see Mariel taking care of herself.

Earlier, Mariel expressed that she wants to return to Its Showtime at the right time. She hasn’t made an appearance on the noontime show since the shutdown of ABS-CBN.
Mariel became known for her hosting stints on ABS-CBN. She gained popularity by hosting ABS-CBN shows such as Wowowee, Pinoy Big Brother, and It’s Showtime.
She has been married to action star Robin Padilla since 2010. They have two daughters.
