Afternoons get more interesting with the return of the award-winning drama series “Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real” beginning March 29 on GMA’s Afternoon Prime block.
Relive once again the exceptional portrayal of its powerhouse ensemble — Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes, Premier Drama actress Lovi Poe, and Diamond Star Maricel Soriano – in the compelling story of a man who is in love with two women and married them both.
After its first run on Philippine TV, the series received multiple recognitions from various award-giving bodies including Outstanding Performance by an Actor for Dingdong, Outstanding Performance by an Actress for Maricel, Outstanding Performance by a Supporting Actress for Alessandra de Rossi and Outstanding Original Drama Program at the 6th Golden Screen TV Awards; Plaque of Commendation and Best Primetime Teleserye at the Northwest Samar State University Student’s Choice Award; and the Silver Screen Award at the 2015 US International Film & Video Festival. It also got several nominations at the 28th PMPC Star Awards for Television.
Under the helm of esteemed director Andoy Ranay, “Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real” is more than just another drama on infidelity. It aims to show the real consequences and changes in the life of the betrayer and the betrayed – that there are no victors.
Anthony Real (Dingdong) is caught in a bigamous relationship with Millet Gonzales-Real (Maricel) and Shiela Salazar-Real (Lovi). Both women are endearing to Anthony, making him feel complete as a man, husband and father. And in his goal to keep the two women happy, he realizes that choices he makes will hurt everyone.
Millet is a successful loving woman who will eventually give up her career to be a full-time caring wife. She is willing to do anything for her family and most especially for her husband Anthony.
Meanwhile, Shiela has a strong-willed and adventurous personality but eventually, her vulnerability as a woman will be revealed as she falls deeply in love with a man who will make her his everything.
Their worlds will be turned upside down when they find out that they are both Mrs. Real. Until when can Anthony live the life of being a husband to two wives? Will Millet and Shiela, the two ‘Mrs. Real’, face and confront each other?
