Herlene Budol or more popularly known as Hipon Girl’s grandmother joked that Alex Gonzaga should have given them money than buying them a branded bag and shoes instead.
Hipon Girl came into prominence after she became a host in the variety game show Wowowin.
Hipon Girl and Alex Gonzaga previously had a vlog collaboration on YouTube on Alex Gonzaga’s channel where Alex bought Hipon Girl a Gucci bag and shoes worth P250,000.
Hipon Girl could not help but shed tears of joy as she was touched by the sweet gesture of Gonzaga.
In a separate video uploaded by Hipon Girl, she had an unboxing of the gifts Alex gave her. She expressed her gratitude to the social media influencer. Also, she said that it was her first time to get such expensive gifts and it made her very happy.
However, in the last part of the video, Hipon Girl asked the opinion of her grandmother regarding Alex’s gifts worth about P250,000.
“Tanungin natin si Nanay kung anong masasabi niya… ‘Nay, binilhan ako ni Alex Gonzaga ng bag at sapatos worth P250,000.”
Hipon’s grandmother was shocked with the price of the items as she exclaimed that Alex should have given them money, which could be of great help in fixing their home.
“Ano??? Two hundred fifty thousand??? Alex, sana pinera mo na lamang para napagawa namin ang bahay,” exclaimed Hipon’s grandmother.
