In the media conference for the highly anticipated ABS-CBN Star Creatives teleserye, Init sa Magdamag, Yam Concepcion reacted to the comments and memes she saw when the trailer and the scene drop for the series surfaced online.
“Oo naman nakita ko mahilig ako mag social media. Nakakatawa at nakakatuwa na makita yung reaction nila dun sa scene drop namin ni Gerald at tsaka yung trailer.”
Concepcion refuted the bashers warning her of Anderson. She defended that the actor is professional and a gentleman.
“Nakakatawa kasi sabi ng mga netizen’s ‘O Yam, mag-iingat ka kay Gerald ha.’ Di ba yun yung mga nababasa ko. Di ko naman kailangan mag-ingat kasi in all honesty nung nakilala ko si Gerald maraming hindi nakaka-alam syempre nakikita lang nila sa TV ganyan. Sinasabi nila na ‘naku matinik sa babae yan,’ ‘hindi loyal,’ pero hindi eh, ano sya eh pagkatrabaho mo si Gerald, he’s very professional. Tsaka very gentleman.
“Hindi nya pinaramdam sa akin na may malisya or what. It’s just purely work.”
Also, she mentioned that her scenes with co-star JM de Guzman are steamier than her scenes with Anderson.
She also referenced a comment from a Netizen who pointed out the similarities of the teleserye to the movie, Fifty Shades of Grey.
“Naku marami din. Mas mature yata yung kay M. Nakita ko nga na may nagcomment na Netizen, na parang fifty shades of heat or something kasi may pa-blind fold.
“Nakikita daw nila yung Fifty Shades of Grey. So sabi nila Fifty Shades of Rita and Peterson. Mas mainit din yung eksena namin ni JM kasi sya yung asawa ko dito.”
