On Tuesday, May 11. the newest member of The Squad Plus, PBB: Connect second placer Andrea ‘Andi’ Abaya, confirmed that she and Kobie Brown are dating,
Earlier on April 11, during an episode of I Feel U, Brown admitted that he was courting Andrea. Though the female star declared that both of them have the same feelings for each other, she did not confirm the courtship.
But Abaya, during the virtual launch of the newest members of Squad Plus, directly answered the question of whether Brown is courting her.
They are taking things slow and getting to know each other even more, according to her.
“Totoo naman. Nililigawan niya ako and we’re getting to know each other, getting closer,” confirmed the 19-year-old female star.
Abaya’s parents even got the chance to meet Brown which she revealed during the press conference.
“Napakilala ko na siya kina Mommy and Daddy. But we’re taking things slow.”
She also admitted that she did not expect to find love during her stay in Kuya’s House.
Her main goal was to improve herself and not look for a relationship. However, she did. And now, she is grateful to have met Kobie.
“I did not expect that I would find love. When I entered Kuya’s house, it wasn’t really something I was looking for. May objective ako. And that is to be more independent, grow, and develop my character as well as my personality.
“But I’m thankful na I met Kobie. Kasi andami kong natutunan sa kanya. And he really takes good care of me, he supports me. Kaya I will forever cherish Kobie.”
The challenge is that they are apart from each other.
However, Andrea is certain that it is a small thing. They trust and support each other.
“Medyo challenging because namimiss namin ang isa’t-isa. Pero I feel na it’s not that big of a challenge kasi meron kaming trust, meron kaming support sa isa’t-isa.”
Since they are both entering showbiz, Andrea noticed that Kobie is doing his best to achieve his aspirations.
“Nakikita ko na ginagawa ni Kobie ang best niya sa pag-achieve ng mga pangarap niya dito sa industry. We are here for each other and sinusuportahan namin ang isa’t-isa.”
And with their relationship slowly blossoming, she revealed that she would take Kobie to one of her fave places.
“I would take Kobie sa Japan. Kasi that’s one of my favorite countries. And sobrang ganda lang ng place na yun. For sure Kobie loves Japan also and I’m sure na pag pumunta kami dun, sobrang ma-eenjoy namin yung trip namin.”
The Squad Plus is the newest teen barkada of ABS-CBN. Joining Andi as the newest members are her fellow PBB: Connect alumni, Kobie Brown, Kyron Aguilera, and Haira Palaguitto.
