Three Kapuso Primetime shows are about to have their respective finales, and GMA Network is already preparing their successors.
Known to many, First Yaya, Heartful Café, and Owe My Love are the shows that continue to soar when it comes to TV ratings. Now that they are about to end, the Network is getting ready to serve three new shows: The World Between Us, Legal Wives, and Ang Dalawang Ikaw.
The World Between Us is a story about a principled man who gets betrayed by the people he considers family. The show also has a powerful cast led by Alden Richards, Jasmin Curtis-Smith, and Tom Rodriguez.
Locked-in taping for the show began last week. Also, this will be Richards and Curtis-Smith’s reunion as they first worked together in the Kapuso show, I Can See You: Love on the Balcony.
Kapuso star Dennis Trillo will be playing a Maranao Muslim in the upcoming series, Legal Wives. It tells the story of Ishmael (Trillo), a Maranao who falls in love, eventually marrying his three wives– Amirah (Alice Dixson), Diane (Andrea Torres), and Farra (Bianca Umali).
In the meantime, GMA Network teased its fans as it released the trailer of the show. Legal Wives already finished its taping and is set to air soon on GMA Telebabad.

Top-billed by Ken Chan and Rita Daniela, Ang Dalawang Ikaw is supposed to air its pilot episode on March 29. Due to the COVID-19 cases spike–the Network, opted to postpone the show’s airing and production, too.
It will take over one of the soon-to-be-vacated slots of the top rating Telebabad shows as it is already on its third cycle of taping. The Network also gave a sneak-peek of the show’s locked-in taping in preparation for its soon-to-be aired episodes.
Ang Dalawang Ikaw tells about a husband’s struggle (Chan) with a dissociative identity disorder and his wife (Daniela).

But with these shows coming up soon, will they be able to live up to the standard that their successors have set?
