Kapuso prime stars and real-life celebrity couple Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes proved to be role models as they received the COVID-19 vaccination shot with no special treatment.

In a twitter post by some netizens, they posted pictures of the couple standing in line to receive their vaccines in a Taguig City mall.

“Isampal ‘to sa nagsasabing di pumila ang DongYan!” one netizen said.

The photos showed that Rivera and Dantes are waiting patiently in line for them to get the vaccine shot along with thousands of people.

This debunked the speculations that the couple skipped the line in getting the vaccine and that they received special treatment.

The celebrity couple, known as DongYan, is a part of the A4 priority group along with other media, actors/performers, production staff, and crew.

In the vaccination program held in a mall in Taguig on June 12, around 1200 lined up to be vaccinated including DongYan.

Netizens praised the couple as they mentioned that even though the two are well-known artists in the country, they received no special treatment or consideration in getting vaccinated.

Previously, Rivera promised to return to TV if the pandemic is over.

She withdrew from the Kapuso series First Yaya, where she got replaced by Sanya Lopez as the leading lady to Gabby Concepcion.

After getting her first shot of the COVID-19 vaccination, rumors said that the actress might be making her television return sooner.

Dantes also teased about his possible reunion with Rivera on screen in an interview with GMA network’s Unang Hirit.
