Kapuso star Sanya Lopez shared the reason why she is hesitant to join beauty pageants. What’s holding her back is her flourishing entertainment career.
Talks about the actress joining the pageantry world started after Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach saw potential in the actress.
In Wurtzbach’s recent Tiktok video, she said that she would love to help and be the trainer of Lopez whenever she decides to join Miss Universe.
According to an article by GMA news, Lopez revealed that she is not closing her doors to the pageantry world entirely.
“Actually, gusto ko naman ma-explore ‘yung part na ‘yun–yung pagiging beauty queen.
“Kaya lang talaga sabi ko ngayon na maganda ‘yung binibigay sa akin ng GMA Network, marami akong projects na ginagawa sa ngayon, dahil sa GMA, e, talagang ang hirap iwanan po talaga,” she explained.
The actress also said that she is still waiting for what life has to offer for her in the future.
Sanya Lopez has two current lead roles on the Kapuso Network which are Yaya Melody in the top-rating primetime series First Yaya and Maya Lagman of the weekend fantasy series Agimat ng Agila.
Both of her current Kapuso shows received good feedback from Kapuso viewers and netizens.
As of April 29, First Yaya still sits on the throne as the most-watched weekday program, scoring 21.0% based on the numbers from AGB Nielsen NUTAM survey.
Agimat ng Agila showed a promising start with its pilot episode posting a 16.3% rating during its debut based on Nielsen Phils. NUTAM People Ratings.
