Fresh Kapuso recruits; Pokwang, Christopher de Leon, Albert Martinez, and Luke Conde who recently signed their contract with the GMA Network are set to star in the upcoming episodes of Wish Ko Lang in line with its 19th-anniversary celebration.
Exciting scenes await to celebrate the successful 19 years of Wish Ko Lang showcasing fresh and new talents of the network this July.
Together with Sanya Lopez and Rhian Ramos who will also play characters in the show, new actors and actresses take roles in Wish Ko Lang episodes as their first GMA project.
TV host-comedienne, Pokwang who inked her contract with GMA Artist Center on June 18 in a virtual event, will play a role in the show’s episode Ang Forever ni Miss Virgie. She will be joined with Kapuso stars, Jeric Gonzales, Arra San Agustin, Jennie Gabriel, and Sarah Geronimo impersonator, Bench Hipolito.
The episode tackles a story of a dedicated Filipino teacher who happens to be soaked up with her job. Described as “married to her job,” Pokwang who will act the character of Miss Virgie will find love in the most unexpected ways.
Meanwhile, seasoned actor and multi-awarded movie star, Christopher de Leon, is preparing several projects in the network as part of his contract signing. He will also appear in one of the Wish Ko Lang episodes this July.
De Leon will star in Mr. Right, a special Wish Ko Lang episode on July 10.
Also part of the most-awaited scenes is Albert Martinez’s A Second Chance episode in the show on July 17.
After 14 long years of being a Kapamilya, Martinez is back with the Kapuso network with a ‘welcome home’ stint in the industry. Albert is first seen as a talent of GMA Network where his career blossomed into becoming an award-winning actor.
Former Kapamilya and It’s Showtime Hashtag member, Luke Conde will also take part in the coming episodes of Wish Ko Lang as his first GMA break right after he decided to sign a contract on June 16.
