In an interview with RAWR Nation, Mica Javier talked about how supportive Jay-R is of her acting career.
Despite intimate scenes in her TV projects, Mica Javier still receives undying support from her husband, Jay-R.
When asked about Jay-R’s reaction to her recent scene with Gerald Anderson in the series Init Sa Magdamag, Javier said that nothing has changed with Jay-R’s support.
“Ganun pa rin, walang nagbago. Maswerte lang talaga ako na supportive si Jay-R sa career ko as an actor kasi nakikita niya kung gaano ako kahirap nagtiyaga, nagworkshop, nagaudition so, nakikita niya yung effort at hardwork na kailangan gawin para makabuo ka ng isang role.”
As a couple, they always value the respect they have for each other and maintain intact communication.
“Yung respect sa isa’t isa, lagi talagang andon. Yung communication sa isa’t-isa lagi talagang intact. So kung meron mang akong roles na intimate, sinasabi ko sakaniya.”
Javier then said that it is nice to receive support from your partner and she is thankful to Jay-R for that.
Javier and Jay-R tied a knot in March last year, few days before the nationwide lockdown was imposed in the Philippines.
Regarding her role in Init Sa Magdamag, she teased that her role has not yet ended in the series.
“Dun nagpunta yung kwento, di ko masasabi kung babalik sa Paulina o hindi pero medyo open-ended din kasi (yung story), pupunta lang naman ako ng America at nasa America ako ngayon diba, pwede lang ako bumalik ng Pilipinas.”
Currently, Javier is staying in America and is attending master classes under Ivana Chubbuck, a premier acting coach.
