Actress Rica Peralejo gets bashed on her Instagram after she introduced her next guest for her YouTube vlog.

On September 30, Peralejo teased her fans that she would be interviewing a politician, clearly Vice President Leni Robredo.
Before the interview took place on October 2, Rica’s IG post about her next guest was flooded by trolls and critics claiming that she allowed Robredo to spread her propaganda for the upcoming elections.
Robredo was being encouraged by many to run for President, although she has not decided.

In one of the comments, Peralejo then wrote, “May dalawang klaseng tao lang ang nagrereply dito: 1) may paninindigan 2) bayaran. And this will make or break the Philippines. God bless us all. And sa lahat sa inyo misko ayaw manood, I invite you pa din this Saturday.” She even used the hashtag #pagekopostko to stress that she can share her own opinions and choose her own guests in her videos.
Her sister, Paula Peralejo-Fernandez, then joined in defending Rica from the bashers and haters.
“Everyone’s entitled to their opinion. But not to their own facts. If they cannot support their opinions with facts and valid arguments, it’s not worth your time, ach!”
Rica reiterated that she will not waste her time talking to the bashers, retaliating that their comments on her social media account define who they are: bayaran.
“Ay hindi talaga tayo magaaksaya ng oras sa kanila, pero maganda din na malaman nilang alam nating bayaran sila hehe. I think masakit mabasa yun kahit na maligaya sila sa kinikita nila.”
The same thing happened with Toni Gonzaga, who interviewed presidential aspirant Bongbong Marcos on her YouTube channel Toni Talks on September 15.
It caused quite a scene as the Ateneo de Manila’s Martial Law Museum even issued an open letter to Gonzaga expressing their disappointment about her participation in Marcos’s attempt at historical revisionism.
