In the Sunday, November 31, episode of Pinoy Big Brother, Albie Casiño talked about his everyday life with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder or ADHD. This neurodevelopmental condition affects focus and behavior.
Casiño revealed that doing workouts help him cope up with ADHD.
“If I don’t work out, I get stressed. You can’t talk to me straight,” Casiño shared with his fellow celebrity housemate, Shanaia Gomez. “To be honest, it’s more for my mental health than my physical health.”
He explained to Kuya in the confession room that he was doing exercise for a long time to calm his mind.
“Matagal po ako mag-exercise talaga, kasi ‘yan po ‘yung oras ko para ma-calm ‘yung mind ko. Wala akong ibang iniisip kundi ‘yung workout,” he said.
“Dahil po sa condition ko — meron po kasi akong ADHD — ‘yung utak ko, ang dami niyang iniisip palagi. Pag nakakapag-exercise ako, I’m in the moment na, ‘Walang ibang importante ngayon, except itong workout na ‘to,’” Casiño shared.
Referring to his workout routine, he added, “When I’m able to do things like this, it just reassures me how strong I am.”
During his Kumu live stream on Tuesday, October 26, Casiño made noise online after claiming that his former girlfriend-actress Andi Eigenmann didn’t apologize to him following their paternity dispute in 2011.
But according to Stevie, Eigenmann’s sister, the actress had apologized to him as she showed a screenshot of their conversation.
In the Tuesday, November 2 episode of Pinoy Big Brother, Casiño opened up about his annoyance towards fellow celebrity housemate Alexa Ilacad. Their conflict was rooted in a jar of peanut butter.
