The GMA Network programs under the 12 noon to 5 PM schedule lead in their respective time slots.
Currently, there are five programs under the GMA Network Afternoon Prime: the country’s longest-running variety show ‘Eat Bulaga’; the family-themed drama ‘Las Hermanas’; the drama-romance anthology ‘Stories from the Heart’; the rerun of the 2012 series ‘The Good Daughter’; and another variety show ‘Wowowin’.
Here’s how these shows performed from October 25 to October 28, based on the TV ratings released by AGB Nielsen.
On October 25, GMA Network Afternoon Prime shows secured ranks 6 to 10 in the rating chart.
‘Eat Bulaga’ tied with another GMA Network show, ‘Tale of the Nine Tailed’ in the 10th-11th place with a 5.4% rating.
‘Las Hermanas’ which had its pilot on the said day, ranked 9th in the chart with a rating of 6.3%.
‘Wowowin’, hosted by Willie Revillame, ranked 8th with a 6.4% rating.
‘Stories from the Heart: Never Say Goodbye’ featuring Klea Pineda, Jak Roberto, and Lauren Young earned 6.8%, raking 7th.
In 6th place is the replayed 2012 series of Kylie Padilla, ‘The Good Daughter’ with a 7.3% rating.
On October 26, ‘Eat Bulaga’ steps down one rank with a 5.2% rating. ‘Las Hermanas’ remained in 9th place earned a rating 0.4% lower than the previous day.
‘The Good Daughter’ remained its rank and rating of the previous day while ‘Wowowin’ with 6.5%, and ‘Stories from the Heart: Never Say Goodbye’ with 6.2%, switched places.
On October 27, the variety show ‘Eat Bulaga’ and ‘Las Hermanas’ again went down a rank lower. ‘Eat Bulaga’ earned 4.8% while ‘Las Hermanas’ earned 5.3%.
‘Wowowin’ and ‘Stories from the Heart: Never Say Goodbye’ again switched places as they earned 6.3% and 6.6%, respectively.
‘The Good Daughter’ then entered the Top 5 most-watched programs on the said date as it earned a 7.6% rating.
On October 28, ‘The Good Daughter’ remained in 5th place with an almost maintained rating of 7.5%.
‘Stories from the Heart: Never Say Goodbye’ and ‘Wowowin’ remained in the positions (7th and 8th) with increased ratings of 6.5% and 6.8%, respectively.
‘Eat Bulaga’ and ‘Las Hermanas’ recovered from their previous ratings. ‘Eat Bulaga’ earned 5.3% and ranked 11th in the rating chart while ‘Las Hermanas’ ranked 10th with 5.8%.
Despite the change in ranks and ratings, all these GMA Network Afternoon Prime shows lead against their rival program on other networks.
