Established weatherman and trivia man Kim Atienza on November 3, expressed how happy he was being a Kapuso now that he became busier during this pandemic.
In the media conference for his latest show Mars Pa More, Kuya Kim said that he now believes in “be careful what you wish for” since he had been flooded with shows after he made the switch from ABS-CBN.
“Be careful what you asked for kasi I asked for this eh, ito ang ginusto ko eh. And it’s good because I’m getting stretched and I’m learning more, I’m learning so many things,” he said.
He is also happy with GMA Network trusting him with shows like 24 Oras and Dapat Alam Mo! because it takes away the sadness he feels now that his children have gone to America to study.
“The fact that I’m solved that GMA gave me all these shows and I’m so busy, happy ako, sobrang happy.
“Kung nag-adjust man ako, nag-adjust ako dahil mas lalo akong sumaya, dahil mas maraming nakakita sa akin at nakakapanuod.
“At it came in the time of my life na I have to be busy. Wala na ang mga anak ko eh, nag-aral na sa Amerika. Kung hindi ako busy, malulungkot ako ng sobra-sobra. So tamang-tama lang,” he explained.
Kuya Kim officially transferred to the Kapuso Network on October 5 after spending 17 years with ABS-CBN.
Mars Pa More is hosted by Iya Villania and Camille Prats, being Kuya Kim as their latest addition. The show airs every weekday at 8:45 a.m. on GMA Network.
