After his withdrawal from the senatorial race for the upcoming 2022 elections, ABS-CBN accepted Noli de Castro’s return with open arms.

On November 8, de Castro will make his TeleRadyo comeback and resume anchoring Kabayan, a program he previously hosted which aired from Monday to Friday at 8 AM.

Via an Instagram post, de Castro announced his return.

On October 28, the ABS-CBN management released a statement welcoming de Castro back.

We welcome him back in ABS-CBN with open arms,” they stated.

Aside from hosting the Kabayan program, De Castro will also be the co-anchor of TeleRadyo Balita with Joyce Balancio, which airs on weekdays at 7:30 AM.

On October 7, de Castro announced that he would be leaving ABS-CBN and his anchor stints to run for the senatorial post under Isko Moreno’s Aksyon Demokratiko. However, on October 13, less than a week after he announced his candidacy, he withdrew from the race.

He stated he reconsidered and thought that he could serve the Filipino people better as an anchorman.
