The biggest digital film of the year is coming out in a few days, and it’s easy to understand why fans can not contain their overwhelming excitement.
After making waves early this year via He’s Into Her, the year’s biggest iWantTFC series to take social media by storm, Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano return to make their fans flutter and flatter once again. The onscreen couple has been dubbed by their home Network as the ‘New Generation’s Phenomenal Loveteam’ stars in their debut film.
Before, DonBelle was first introduced in the 2020 film–James, Pat, and Dave that starred reel-to-real couple, Loisa Andalio and Ronnie Alonte.
Love is Color Blind is set to dominate KTX. PH, iWantTFC, and select streaming partners, once the film opens on Friday, December 10.
Helmed by esteemed director John Leo D. Garcia, Love is Color Blind has long made fans anticipate since a teaser trailer for the movie was released last month.
It generated a million views across social media platforms–is enough indication of the uncontrollable excitement that the entire DonBelle army is feeling. Even before its premiere, there were already indications that the film is well-positioned to break opening records for a digitally-released local film.
Of course, it’s not difficult why this humongous amount of attention is gathering around this movie. That it is starred by arguably the biggest new loveteam to emerge during the pandemic–that is one.
DonBelle’s massive popularity is truly hard to discredit, given how it managed to be present in various discussions on the Internet. They have [literally] taken social media by storm, and it seemed their phenomenon is all-poised to linger for a longer time.
Apart from Donny and Belle, another up-and-coming Kapamilya star is all groomed to make an irresistible impression by the name Jeremiah Lisbo.
He had already worked with two projects–He’s Into Her (is also playing a major role in the movie). In 2020, the young star already worked alongside Mariano in the family movie Four Sisters Before the Wedding. He is predicted by many to become one of ABS-CBN’s most sought-after leading men next year.
Rising social media influencer Esnyr Ranollo, Angelina Cruz, Ariel Rivera, and Eula Valdez are also part of the cast.
Love is Color Blind is ABS-CBN Film Productions’ first film to be released in six months. The film outfit released three films during the first two quarters of the year. It released Princess Dayareese (Maymay Entrata, Edward Barber) on January 1, Love or Money (Angelica Panganiban, Coco Martin) on March 12, and Momshies, Ang Soul Mo’y Akin (Jolina Magdangal, Melai Cantieveros, Karla Estrada) on May 28.
