John Lloyd Cruz revealed that he and Maja Salvador had switched roles in terms of their career in the showbiz industry.

In an interview with GMA Network, Cruz played a game called “Keyword Interview” where the actor would express the first thing that comes to his mind when a certain keyword is presented.

When the name of Maja Salvador came up, Cruz simply smiled and said that he switched roles with the actress.

“Si Maja [Salvador] binaliktad niya ang aming roles.

“Ako na ‘yung pinagsasabihan niya ngayon. Ako na ‘yung nakikinig sa kanya, kay Ma’am,” he said.

To recall, Cruz signed under Maja Salvador’s new agency Crown Artist Management Incorporated on May 2021. Maja’s boyfriend, Rambo Nuñez Ortega, sits as the CEO of the said talent agency.

Cruz is currently with the GMA Network, while Salvador is a freelancer as she stars on the TV5 series Niña Niño as well as the Kapuso noontime show Eat Bulaga.

Both Cruz and Salvador have the ABS-CBN network as their home network. Back in ABS-CBN, Cruz is considered Salvador’s senior in the showbiz industry because of their 5-year age gap.

Now that Salvador established her talent agency, Cruz looks up to the actress.

Cruz is set to star in the Kapuso sitcom Happy ToGetHer. Joining Cruz in the sitcom are other celebrities are Miles Ocampo, Carmi Martin, Janus Prado, and Jayson Gainza.

Salvador’s Niña Niño can be watched on TV5’s Todo Max Primetime Singko line up.
