Among the titles that multi-talented singer Julie Anne San Jose has, her favorite was being called the Asia’s Limitless Star, Wednesday, January 19.
In the virtual media conference for her upcoming single Everbody Hurts, San Jose explained that it makes her feel that she is indeed “limitless.”
“Pinaka-favorite ko siya kasi whenever people call me that or whenever I hear it, it makes me feel good about myself. I feel more motivated, I feel more empowered na I can do anything. Like I can play more instruments or like I can do more genres, I can do all these things and so many more.
“Kasi katulad nga ng sinabi ko before, minsan tayo lang din ang naglalagay ng limit sa sarili natin eh. But actually, we can do so much more than that.
“So when you think that you’re limitless, parang you will feel great about yourself, you will feel more fulfilled, you will feel unstoppable, and just like you can do anything. You believe that you can.”
Apart from being Asia’s Limitless Star, she is also called Asia’s Pop Sweetheart and Asia’s Pop Diva. However, the singer-actress noted that these are just names.
“Pero at the end of the day, it’s just you know, parang for me, pangalan lang naman ‘yan eh. It’s really about how you do your craft, how you work.”
Everybody Hurts collaborates with San Jose and Asia’s Romantic Balladeer Christian Bautista. It is produced by Universal Studios and will be available for streaming on various music platforms on Friday, January 21.
