Donita Nose answered the allegations of her using Super Tekla only to gain fame, saying she has the necessary capabilities to succeed independently.
On February 13, Ethel Booba uploaded her interview with Donita on her YouTube channel.
“Gusto ko lang linawin sa mga tao na parang sinasabi ‘ay ginagamit mo lang si Tekla,’ kaya ko naman po magtrabaho nang maayos. I can sing. I can host. I can act. I can do comedy. Kaya kong mag-vlog nang mag-isa. Kung baga para sa sarili ko, may talent naman ako,”
Despite Donita confirming her friendship with Tekla and saying she considers him as a close friend, she admitted that she owes no gratitude to Tekla. For her, their accomplishments are equally credited.
Donita was asked if she was angry with Tekla, she admitted she was not okay with the latter being lazy.
“Siguro pagdating lang sa work. Kaya nga tandem, ‘di ba tulungan? Minsan talaga may pagka-ano siya. Alam naman niya ‘yon tamad talaga siya,” he said.
As of writing, Donita and Tekla’s joint YouTube channel Donekla in Tandem has already reached 3.21 million followers.
