Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) released an initial 50 of 300 units of Hiace Commuter Deluxe Patient Transport Vehicle (PTV) to the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) in a meaningful turnover ceremony and Deed of Donation (DOD) signing between PCSO and PTV beneficiaries last February 4, 2021 at the Toyota Otis dealership.

Present during the ceremony were the officers and representatives of the initial 50 municipalities and cities, PCSO Vice Chairperson and General Manager Ms. Royina Marzan Garma, PCSO Charity Assistance Manager Atty. Marissa O. Medrano, PCSO Assistant General Manager Ms. Julieta F. Aseo, and PCSO Special Projects Division Chief Ms. Muriel G. Pajarillo.

In her speech, PCSO Vice Chairperson and General Manager Ms. Royina Marzan Garma expressed her appreciation to Toyota for producing high-quality vehicles that can be converted to PTVs to address the medical transportation requirements of Local Government Units (LGUs).

Guaranteed with the Toyota Sure Advantage of Quality, Durability, and Reliability, the Hiace units have been converted to meet the requirements of PCSO’s Patient Transport Vehicle Distribution Program which provides medical transport vehicles to LGUs nationwide.
