After being included in the female celebrities who dressed in pink as a show of support to presidential candidate VP Leni Robredo, Ai-Ai delas Alas clarified via Instagram on March 10, that she is not supporting the former.

“Utang na loob, NANAHIMIK AKO. Huwag niyo akong masala-sali sa mga ganito. Tahimik buhay ko. Lahat na lang. Huy!

“Tanging Ina ko pa picture ‘yan. Tanging Ina ka kung sino ka man na gumagawa ng mga ganitong ka cheapen. Please hindi po ako VP LENI supporter.

Delas Alas admitted that the photo of her wearing pink was taken for the promotion of her 2008 film, Ang Tanging Ina N’yong Lahat.

The photo that went viral featured Robredo with Rica Peralejo, Pokwang, Sharon Cuneta, Miles Ocampo, Anne Curtis, Angel Locsin, and delas Alas wearing pink.

“Mga artista nagsuot ng pink para ipakita ang suporta kay leni robredo,” the caption on the photo said.

Delas Alas did not disclose the presidential candidate she is supporting for the upcoming national and local 2022 elections. Although, one of the hashtags she used is already a giveaway.
